Barnsley Council confirm that libraries will be free from political interference, and that the contents of our libraries will be untouched, and that our libraries will remain safe and inclusive spaces for all.

Just recently the Reform council leader in Warwickshire was in the news because he had claimed that he had received complaints that the county's libraries were "promoting contested gender ideology." when in fact no complaints had been made at all.
